  3. Build a coordinated plan

Review market options, coverage terms, limits and risk priorities with an advisor who explains the details.

Ready-mix insurance FAQ

Common questions,
straight answers.

The details matter. Talk with us about your plants, fleet and contracts, and we’ll help you assess your options.

What insurance does a ready-mix concrete company need?
Most producers review commercial auto, workers’ compensation, general and products liability, property and umbrella coverage. Equipment breakdown, pollution and manufacturers E&O may also be appropriate, depending on the operation.
Does insurance cover concrete that fails to meet specifications?
Not automatically. Products liability and manufacturers E&O address different types of claims. The cost to replace your own defective concrete, remove it or perform a recall can be excluded or require specialized coverage. We review the applicable policy language.
Can mixer trucks and batch plants be reviewed together?
Yes. Reviewing the fleet, production facilities and delivery operations together helps identify overlapping exposures and coverage questions. The final insurance arrangement may involve more than one policy or carrier.
Do you work with businesses outside New England?
We welcome inquiries from concrete businesses across the United States. Placement and coverage depend on state licensing, carrier appetite, operations and underwriting.
How much does ready-mix concrete insurance cost?
Pricing depends on fleet size and value, drivers, operating radius, payroll, production, plant values and claim history. We review your actual operation before seeking terms.
